Gordon Flesch Charitable Foundation Award

We are incredibly honored to share that OPALS 4 ALS was selected as a 2026 recipient of the Gordon Flesch Charitable Foundation Award! ❤️

The mission of the Gordon Flesch Charitable Foundation is one that means so much to us: enriching lives through local community organizations that assist people of all ages with disabilities, illness, hardship, or disasters.

Since the foundation was established in 2002, more than $2.6 million has been donated to nonprofits in the communities where Gordon Flesch customers live, work, and play. What makes this foundation especially meaningful is that it is managed entirely by Gordon Flesch associates. Each year, employees nominate organizations that are close to their hearts and their communities, and the foundation’s board selects the recipients.

To be recognized by a group of people who chose to support the work we are doing for people living with ALS is incredibly humbling. 💙

Our founder, Amy, along with her husband Brian and two OPALS 4 ALS Board Members, had the honor of attending the award presentation ceremony on August 5, 2026.

We are so grateful to the Gordon Flesch Charitable Foundation for believing in our mission and helping us continue to bring a little more joy, comfort, care, and pampering to people living with ALS across Wisconsin.

We are incredibly thankful for this recognition — and even more thankful for everyone who continues to believe in what OPALS 4 ALS is trying to do. This one belongs to our whole tribe. 💙✨
