OPALS 4 ALS Honored in CBS 58 “Natalie’s Everyday Heroes”
We are proud to share that OPALS 4 ALS (Offering Pampering for People Living with ALS) was recently featured in a CBS 58 “Natalie’s Everyday Heroes” segment—an incredible recognition of the work we are so passionate about.
The CBS 58 feature highlighted the story of Peggy Merrill, who received permanent makeup through our program. Her experience reflects why this work matters so deeply. These services are about more than appearance—they offer independence, comfort, and a meaningful boost in confidence during an incredibly challenging journey.
We are continually inspired by the generosity of our volunteers, including talented professionals who donate their time and skills to serve others with compassion. As awareness grows, so does our ability to reach more individuals in need—especially those who would benefit from in-home services.
Being recognized as an “Everyday Hero” is truly an honor, but the real heroes are the individuals we serve and the community that supports them. Together, we are proving that small acts of care can make a profound difference.
